Make sure your child’s name is written inside all shoes, tights and costumes. Take time to carefully pack all costume pieces and accessories. Please pack a spare pair of tights in case your dancer gets a runner. Also, be sure to clean all dance shoes.
All tie tap shoes should have laces replaced with elastic.
HAIR:
All dancers must have hair pulled back off their face and secured in a bun. Those with shorter hair should wet, gel, then blow dry to secure any pieces of hair from falling in their face.
MAKE-UP:
It is necessary to apply make-up even to the youngest dancers. The stage lighting is so bright that it washes out their natural color. Below you will find a list of all of the hair and makeup essentials we required for your dancer. We have provided a list for you to print and take to the store with you of great stage makeup, all of these can be found at your local CVS or Target. TDA Caboodle Checklist
