TDA is thrilled to be welcoming Matthew Tiberi of Broadway’s Finding Neverland and Sarah Parker of Broadway’s Fiddler on the Roof to the studio for the second workshop series of the summer!

Matthew Tiberi was born in raised in New Jersey. Hailing from Vernon, he began his training in dance at ten-years-old with Sharon Druzbanski, the choreographer of his very first production, Fiddler On The Roof (under the direction of William Donald). From then on Matthew continued to study ballet, lyrical, hip hop, jazz, tap, and acrobatics at Ziegler Dance Centre, where he was an assistant instructor for four years, under the direction of Renee, Peggy, and Dana Ziegler. He continued participating in community-theater with Highland Stage and began working with Heather Hamilton-Burns and Faith Anderson, while studying voice with Julie Gieger. Matthew continued performing
throughout high school having the opportunity to work with Barri Weinstein, Rob McClure, and Michael Mooney. Matthew received his B.A. in Dance from Hofstra University where he minored in Music and Musical Theater. While at Hofstra, Matthew was selected to choreograph for Dixon Place’s Body Blend series and the American College Dance Festival, where his piece What Good Am I? was selected to be performed in the closing Gala. Throughout his time at Hofstra, Matthew also had the opportunity to work and train with Lance Westergarde, Giada Ferrone, Robin Becker, Liza Gennaro-
Evans, Brett Smock, Jean Dobie Giebel, Jason Tucker, and Tammy Hensrud. He began working professionally during his time at Hofstra, performing in Christmas and review
shows around the country and in Canada and joined the film actors union SAG-AFTRA.
After graduating, Matthew began performing in musicals around the country soon joining
Actors Equity Association, and playing Issachar in the national tour of Andy
Blankenbuehler’s production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He
then went on to make his Broadway debut as a swing in Finding Neverland. Matthew
still performs regionally and internationally while continuing to teach workshops and
master classes. Matthew is currently signed to McDonald/Selznick Associates.
Sarah Parker was born and raised in Sparta, NJ and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Dance from Hofstra University in 2011. Post-college, she became an active freelancer in New York’s contemporary dance scene, originally working with Stefanie Nelson Dancegroup and performing both nationally and internationally with Yin Yue Dance. Sarah has also danced for Benoit-Swan Pouffer, Jon Ole Olstad, and many others. She attended Springboard Danse Montreal in the summer of 2014, where she performed works by Helen Simoneau and O Vertigo.
Sarah took part in choreographer Hofesh Shechter’s developmental lab for the latest Broadway revival of ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ in June 2015. She then went on to join the show’s company under the direction of Bartlett Sher, and performed FOTR at the Broadway Theatre until its closing night on December 31st, 2016. She was part of the cast’s performances on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Late Night with Stephen Colbert, and the Tony Awards. Sarah also recorded the 2016 cast album and was featured in all of the show’s marketing materials
Recently, Sarah took part in a series of industrials for ULTA Beauty and MATRIX/ L’Oreal, under the direction of Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews, choreographed by Abdur-Rahim Jackson. She danced for the Brooks Brothers Bicentennial Gala in a piece by Reed Luplau, and is also featured in 3 episodes of the hit Amazon TV series ‘Mozart in the Jungle’ (Season 4), with choreography by Kelly Devine.
On April 1st, 2018 Sarah performed in NBC’s ‘Jesus Christ Superstar LIVE’, starring John Legend, Sara Bareilles, and Alice Cooper. The show received rave reviews and drew in over 9.4 million viewers! She is now continuing to work with choreographer Camille A. Brown, touring with her company around the US for the 18/19 season! In addition to all of this, she is currently part of the developmental process of Andy Blankenbuehler’s new dance narrative ‘Only Gold’.

Sarah loves inspiring younger generations to get involved in the arts! She has taught all sorts of classes and workshops for A Class Act, Broadway Classroom, Broadway Artists Alliance, Broadway Workshop, The Broadway Experience, and numerous dance studios around the country.
She is also a nationally certified personal trainer and fitness instructor, and has worked at many top studios and gyms in NYC such as Equinox, Velocity Sports Performance, Complete Body, and Pure Yoga.
